New presidential candidate Chung Mong-Joon: “Michel Platini would not be good for FIFA”

New FIFA Presidential candidate Chung Mong-Joon has followed up his scathing attack on current incumbent Sepp Blatter by claiming "it would not be good for FIFA" if rival Michel Platini became president.

CNN’s Alex Thomas sat down with the South Korean billionaire in Paris on Monday in an interview for CNN, which Sport360 has exclusive access to in the region.

The 63-year-old discussed his own plans for FIFA should be become elected as well as his feelings toward Blatter and Platini.

In the interview with CNN, Mong-Joon also criticised FIFA for being too focussed on Europe and said that its next leader must "do much more for African and Asian football."
