Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has labelled the decision to move the Copa Libertadores decider to Madrid as a “sad moment” ahead of next week’s clash between River Plate and Boca Juniors.

An attack by River fans last weekend on the Boca team coach saw the match repeatedly suspended. It was announced this week that the continental clash will now be played at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu on December 9.

Pochettino has history in the competition, reaching the final with Newell’s Old Boys in 1992.
