Eternal rivals Brazil and Argentina are set to renew hostilities as the two South American giants meet for an international friendly in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday night.

The clash will feature some of the most elite players on the planet but one man who won’t be there is Argentina’s superstar forward Lionel Messi.

He has been left out of Lionel Scaloni’s last two sets of international fixtures as speculation rages over his Argentina future after their disappointing World Cup campaign.

And former Barcelona team-mate and Brazil icon Neymar says it’s a let down for football fans that he won’t be involved.
