Manchester United’s scour of Europe for a new defender has seen them inquire about the possibility of signing Paris Saint-Germain’s Layvin Kurzawa, reports l’Equipe.

The Red Devils are in the market for a new centre-back and potentially a left-back with Kurzawa a target for the latter spot after a meeting to discuss a move on Wednesday.

However, the French daily claims PSG boss Thomas Tuchel views the Les Bleus internationals as his first-choice, although the Parisians are said to be interested in Juventus star Alex Sandro, so Kurzawa may be moved on to facilitate the move.

Premier League side Wolves have also been linked with a £22million move for the 25-year-old.
