Willian has finally broken his silence over the rumours linking the Brazilian to Barcelona, with the Chelsea midfielder citing them as “speculation”.

With Brazil in the quarter-finals of the World Cup and set to face Belgium on Friday, Willian has bigger concerns at the moment and doesn’t appear to want to detract from his team’s focus in Russia.

Speaking in a press conference, the 29-year-old said about the Barcelona rumours: “We ended up hearing some speculation and some things that appear on the internet, but this is not the moment to talk about this. Also I haven’t received any information that this would be true.”
