The league stage of the fourth edition of the Indian Super League (ISL) has been completed as FC Goa emerged victorious from their crunch match against Steve Coppell’s Jamshedpur FC on Sunday to claim the last of the four play-off spots.

A goal in each half from Ferran Corominas and a stunning strike from Manuel Lanzarote wrapped up the win for the Goans over 10-man Jamshedpur who had their goalkeeper Subrata Paul sent off in the third minute for handling the ball outside the area.

Bengaluru FC top the standings in their debut ISL campaign while 2015 winners Chennaiyin FC claimed second spot. FC Pune City also secure a semi-finals berth having finished in third place.

The two-legged semi-finals (home and away) will take place next week on March 7 and 10.

Bengaluru FC will take on Pune City in the first semi-final with the first leg to be played at the Maharashtran outfit’s home ground, the Balewadi Stadium, while the second leg will take place at the Kanteerava stadium in Bengaluru on March 11.

In the second semi-final, Chennaiyin FC are set to face FC Goa. The two sides will lock horns at the Fatorda Stadium in Goa in the first leg on March 9 while the return leg in Chennai is scheduled for March 13.

The ISL final is scheduled to be held on March 17 at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.
