Man United’s Paul Pogba wants his wages doubled to match Alexis Sanchez

Paul Pogba will demand his wages are doubled to match that of Alexis Sanchez, who is reportedly set to sign a deal worth around £400,000-a-week, reports the Mirror.

Manchester United have agreed to pay the Chile striker a staggering £100million for his services over the next four-and-a-half years, which has irked the club’s current record signing.

Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola will tell United that his client is worth more than the £200,000-a-week he’s currently earning if they’re willing to pay Sanchez double that sum.

The midfielder’s current deal was only signed in 2016, when the Red Devils paid Juventus a club-record £89million fee and the France international still has three years to run with United owning the option to extend the contract by a further 12 months.

Sanchez has been having a medical in Manchester and is expected to be unveiled as a United played in the next 24-hours, in a deal which will see Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to the Emirates Stadium as part of the deal.

The Armenia playmaker, also represented by Raiola, will receive a hefty pay off after the super agent threatened to scupper the transfer unless his client was richly rewarded for agreeing to leave Old Trafford.

As well as a pay-off Mkhitaryan will also be receiving a pay rise at Arsenal, taking his weekly wages above the £200,000-a-week mark.
