CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN AND HARRY KANE

Tottenham pair Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane were scouted by Barcelona’s sporting director Robert Fernandez during the Premier League side’s Champions League draw with Real Madrid.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca have joined the race for Kane who could cost up to €225million but see Eriksen as a more viable option.

RATING: 4/10

VERDICT

Kane, no. Eriksen, maybe. Spurs are notoriously tough negotiators and if they won’t budge for anything less than a world-record fee, then it’s difficult to see Kane departing.

However, Eriksen is a possibility given the Camp Nou club may well miss out on their number one target, Philippe Coutinho.

LINCOLN

According to AS, Barcelona are tracking 16-year-old Brazilian striker Lincoln.

The teenager has been in impressive form at the U17 World Cup in India and the Flamengo youngster is said to be valued at €30million.

RATING: 7/10

VERDICT

Makes you feel distinctly old when a player born in 2000 is a transfer target of Barca. Lincoln has scored three goals in three in India which has naturally alerted the attention of Europe’s big hitters.

He’s the team-mate of Vinicius Junior, who will be joining Barca’s bitter rivals Real Madrid next summer, and a similar move could see Lincoln plying his trade in Spain very soon.
