Juventus legend Pavel Nedved signs contract to come out of eight-year retirement

Czech star Pavel Nedved, famous for his blonde locks and success with Juventus in Italy, has announced he is to come out of retirement and return to the game.

The 45-year-old, who hung up his boots at the end of the 2008-09 season after a trophy-laden career with the Old Lady which was topped off with the Ballon d’Or prize in 2003, will play alongside his son at Czech amateur club FK Skalna.

Nedved turned out for FK Skalna as a youth team player and has penned a short-term deal with the club.
