The transfer window may not open again until January 1 2018 but that hasn’t put an end to plenty of speculation throughout Europe.

Here, we take a look at three big stories dominating the headlines.

Do you think any of these deals will get over the line in January?

FEDERICO CHIESA

Liverpool have joined the long list of clubs interested in Fiorentina’s teenage attacker Federico Chiesa, according to Calciomercato.com.

The 19-year-old, who is the son of former Italy striker Enrico Chiesa, has also been linked with Chelsea, Man United and Inter Milan among others.

RATING: 7/10

SPORT360 VERDICT

Chiesa is widely argued to be one of Serie A’s brightest young talents and it’s no surprise to see Europe’s big clubs start to pay attention.

His constant running and direct style suits Jurgen Klopp’s “heavy metal” brand of football and still a teenager his ceiling for potential is incredibly high.

With that in mind, he’s valued at around €40million and the chase could certainly hot up come January if he continues the form he’s shown already this season.

PACO ALCACER

Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer is attracting the interest of Serie A duo Inter Milan and Napoli, claims Sport.

Alcacer has struggled at Camp Nou since his €30million switch from Valencia last year and the report says the Catalan club would sell for the right price.

RATING: 7/10

SPORT360 VERDICT

Brought in to make the difference if the MSN trio failed to deliver, Alcacer just simply hasn’t cut it at Barcelona and has fallen well down the pecking order.

He featured 20 times in La Liga last season – 14 of those from the bench – and ultimately hasn’t delivered. If the right price comes in for the 24-year-old in January, he’ll be off.

JUAN CUADRADO

According to TMW, Arsenal will make a move to bring former Chelsea flyer Juan Cuadrado back to the Premier League.

The Gunners are exploring their options with the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil entering the final year of their contract and have turned their own on the Juventus man.

RATING: 6/10

SPORT360 VERDICT

It’s understandable Arsenal are planning their business early because next summer could turn out to be a very ugly one for them.

Cuadrado, however, only made a permanent move to the Serie A champions in the summer after a successful two-year loan spell and poaching the Colombian will be no easy feat.
