Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has charmed English football ever since his arrival in 2015 with his ebullient personality lighting the city and its fans.

And the German has further warmed our hearts as he took time to film a sweet video message for a young diehard Everton fan who is battling a muscle-wasting disease.

Noah is fighting the life-shortening disease called duchenne muscular dystrophy and his auntie stopped the Reds boss in a petrol station to send an offering of his support.

“Hi Noah! We’re here in a petrol station in Formby and your auntie tells me, at this moment, you are not in the best shape but this will change, I am sure,” Klopp said.

“I hear you are an Evertonian, he says, turning to the aunt before adding: A huge Evertonian! So hopefully you enjoy this week. All the best and hopefully see you later.”
