Crystal Palace have agreed a deal with Liverpool for defender Mamadou Sakho with the Frenchman undergoing a medical, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Sakho will sign a five-year deal and he will become the club’s highest earner.
The 27-year-old was a successful loan signing last season and after weeks of negotiating with the Reds have agreed a fee thought to be £26million.

But their attempts to hijack Palace’s deal look to have failed with a permanent move to south London close to completion.
