Man United spending £75m on Romelu Lukaku shows they mean business, says Wes Brown

Former Manchester United defender Wes Brown believes the £75million acquisition of Romelu Lukaku from Everton shows the club “mean business”.

Jose Mourinho has been actively revamping his squad over the summer with Lukaku brought in to bolster his attacking options while Swedish centre-half Victor Lindelof has been signed from Benfica.

Lukaku, who has been handed the N09 shirt at United for the forthcoming season, will be under huge pressure to justify his price tag but Brown is confident the big Belgian will provide some much needed firepower.

Speaking at the Star Sixes tournament, the six-a-side world cup for former internationals, in London, Brown offered his thoughts on Lukaku in the video below.
