The summer can be a depressing time for sports fans with many seasons and players taking a well-earned break, but this summer promises to be a memorable one for supporters of football, tennis and athletics, with Euro 2016, Wimbledon and the Olympic Games all making for a jam-packed calendar.

The European Championships kicks it all off next month and football fanatics in Dubai should head down to the hugely popular West Beach Bistro & Sports Lounge at Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach for their fix.

West Beach Bistro & Sports Lounge is gearing up for the most action packed event of the year as 24 teams head to France with reigning champions Spain hoping to defend the title they won in Poland and Ukraine four years ago.

West Beach Bistro & Sports Lounge offers the perfect atmosphere to watch your team, whether it’s Wales, Germany, France or Italy.

There are multiple screens throughout the stunning venue, including a giant concave screen stretching from floor to ceiling, plus state-of-the-art audio and visual projection that will ensure fans don’t miss a single kick during the tournament, which kicks off with Didier Deschamps’ hosts playing Romania on June 10 at the Stade de France.

Farzan Ansari, food and beverage manager at Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach, is encouraging sports fans with a thirst for football, as well as quality food and drink, to get themselves down to the JBR venue.

“Great food and beverage deals are on offer including a Euro’s special food menu thatfeatures favourites such as Bangers and Mash, Lancashire hot pot and much more along with special promotional deals on food and beverage pairing,” said Ansari.

West Beach Bistro & Sports Lounge is open daily between 20:00 until 02:00 during Ramadan and 12 noon until 03:00 normally.
