The four time Ballon d’Or winner was in Dubai last month to receive the Player of the Year award at the Global Soccer Awards.

During his arrival at Dubai airport, the off-duty officer had taken the Argentinean’s passport from the counter at passport control and filmed himself.

The airport officer faces a charge of violating Messi’s privacy and said he made the video with the permission of Messi’s bodyguard.
