The match ended with Danube 406 for 5 in 108 overs and both teams agreeing no positive result was possible, declaring it a draw.

Earlier in the day, Danube Lions began their day at 175 for 1.

Fakhar Zaman should have scored his maiden hundred of the series but fell 6 runs short. In attempting a big hit to reach his ton, Zaman was stumped off Nasir Aziz.

Opener Asif Iqbal though did not make the same mistake and ensured he made three figures for his side, in an elegant 104 off 195 balls. A knock that included 5 boundaries and 2 sixes.

Runs continued to be piled on and eventually Danube declared on 406 for 5 from 108 overs. Abid Ali remained unbeaten of 73 while Shehzad Manna hit 58. Sultan Ahmed picked up 2 wickets.

Riaz Afridi was named Man of the Final for his 5 wicket haul to ensure Alubond wouldn’t cross the 1st Innings score.

The prize distribution ceremony will be held at the end of the One Day series which is due to start on 21st January at the ICC Academy.

The series is organised by Danube in collaboration with Dubai Cricket Council. Further support has been lent by Delhi Darbar and Cha Cha Chai.
