The tournament is organized by the Umm Al Quwain Cricket Club and held under the supervision of the Emirates Cricket Board.

Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Aen openers Abbas Badri (25) and Ali Boriawala (28) got them off to a flying start. With a strong foundation laid, Murtaza Turab Ali then launched an attack on the bowlers as he needed just 37 balls for his 69 (10×4, 1×6).

Few quick wickets fell after that, but Aen recovered through Yusuf Shoaib late 18 in 10 balls as they posted a total of 181 for seven.

Chasing a relatively tough target, Brothergas lost a wicket early, but the other opener Adnan Khan powered to a fine 52 off 42 balls, finding the fence on six occasions apart from a six.

Qasim Bashir supported him for a brief while scoring a quick 18 off only 13 deliveries before Bahadur Ali further consolidated the innings by smashing a 22-ball 40 (5×4, 1×6).

A couple of wickets then fell in quick succession, putting Brothergas in pressure.

Late cameos by Shujaa Khan (23 in 11 balls) and Sarwana (11 in six balls) could not take their side past the target as Brothergas were restricted to 176 for seven.

For the winners, Murtaza Shabbir Mogal claimed four wickets in his four overs giving away 23 runs. Shabbir Mogal was later adjudged Man of the Match.
