Former England fast bowler Alex Tudor will train Dubai’s G Force Cricket Academy boys in India during a 10-day camp starting Friday, December 20.

The academy boys will be heading to Rajkot, Saurashtra, and will also be playing in local tournaments there.

Current Indian cricketers Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja and Jaydev Undakat are from Saurashtra and head coach of the Academy, Gopal Jasapara, who roped in Tudor for the tour, believes it will be an enriching experience for his boys.

“G Force has won many tournaments in Dubai and abroad and the time had come to face some quality opponents,” said Jasapara, who had represented Saurashtra 23 years ago before heading to the UAE.

Besides coaching sessions from Tudor, who is also a Level III England and Wales coach, the boys will play in a local tournament organised by G Force Academy and Genius School, Rajkot.

It will be followed by the G Force Open Saurashtra T20 knockout tournament featuring eight teams including the G Force Academy under- 13 and u-16 teams.

Tudor will also be conducting a Talent Hunt programme in Rajkot. Bipin Pujara, former Ranji Trophy player will also be part of it.
