The session will be held at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club’s brand new cricket facility on Saturday April 30th, between 6pm and 9pm.

Launched on Saturday March 26th the Talent Hunt aims to identify the next possible stars of the UAE, in search of new male and female cricketers across the Emirates.

Over 1,000 people have attended the first four sessions with the ECB expecting this Saturday’s session in Sharjah (April 23rd – 7pm to 10pm) and the following Saturday (April 30th – 6pm to 9pm) in Al Ain to be the most attended.

“We are exceptionally pleased with the response from our inaugural Talent Hunt and we are encouraged by the talent we have seen to date,” said ECB member and UAE national selector Zayed Abbas.

“Across the four Emirates we have visited so far; Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai and Sharjah, it was evident we must include a new opportunity in Al Ain and cast a wide net for players to be seen. Al Ain has a large cricket following and we expect to see a strong turn-out for this session.”

The Al Ain initiative is open to any males between 18 and 30-years-old male and 14 to 30-year-old females currently residing in the UAE.
