The Quetta Gladiators were handed a significant boost ahead of the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) with Windies stalwart Sunil Narine confirming his willingness to travel to Pakistan for the tournament.

Narine has become the second overseas Quetta Gladiators to do so after his compatriot Dwayne Bravo too confirmed his availability for the Pakistan leg of the tournament.

For the fourth edition of the PSL, eight matches in total – including the qualifiers and the final – are set to be held on Pakistan soil.

“I am excited to be a part of the Quetta Gladiators and hopefully we will travel to Pakistan to win the title for you guys (fans),” Narine stated in a video posted by the official Twitter account of the franchise.

A couple of days earlier, Bravo had confirmed that he is willing to travel to Pakistan in a message posted by the Quetta Gladiators Twitter account.

“I want to thank Quetta Gladiators for picking me and giving me the opportunity to be a part of PSL 2019,” he had said in the video.

“Pakistan! The Champion is coming there. Support us, look out for me as it will be my first time in Pakistan since 2006 and I’m really looking forward to being there,” Bravo had added.

Both Narine and Bravo are Platinum Category players for the Quetta franchise. While Narine arrived via a trade with Lahore Qalandars, Bravo was picked up in the most recent PSL player draft held in Islamabad.
