Quetta Gladiators sealed their third straight victory of the Pakistan Super League on Saturday as they registered a six-wicket triumph over Peshawar Zalmi.

Sarfraz Ahmed and Rilee Rossouw played an instrumental role with a 74-run stand that saw them home and go top of the standings. Before that, Australian all-rounder Shane Watson set the platform with another a solid display with the bat and ball.

With the ball, he proved to be a handful as he mixed his pace and length to keep batsmen guessing. He is 36 but his bowling hasn’t lost its zip.

GOT WRONG

After looking comfortable at the crease, Watson can only blame himself for the way he went out. Making room outside off, Watson went for a heave on the on side and got a fine edge to wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal.
