A total of seven leading umpires and two match referees will be a part of the match officials panel.

Also taking up roles on the panel are leading Pakistani umpires Ahsan Raza, Shozab Raza, Ahmad Shahab, Rashid Riaz and Khalid Mehmood.

The match referees will be former Sri Lankan cricketer and ICC referee Roshan Mahanama and Pakistani Muhammad Anees.

The tournament kicks off this week, with the first match underway on February 4.

The opening game between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators will be proceeded by the tournament’s opening ceremony at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Renowned Pakistani artist Ali Zafar and global hip-hop star Sean Paul will be joined by Bachaana movie actors Sanam Saeed and Mohib Mirza who will re-enact an on-screen scene at the opening gala.
