Gaurang Agrawal’s man of the match performance helped IHS Knights U13s secure an easy win over JSSIS Super Kings on Friday.

Agrawal’s 27 off 18 balls included one four. He was supported by Vihan Tripathi (19 off 34) as Knights posted 91-2 from their 15 overs. Agrawal also took one wicket for just four runs.
Aaryan Srivastav and Aryan Sharma took the wickets for Kings, who could only muster 64-8 in reply, with Kartik Niar (12) their chief run-maker.
CB Abihnav took two of the Kings’ wickets for just 16 runs.
Knights assistant coach Sunil Kumar said: “I’m very happy, my team played very well. Gaurang was excellent and was hitting the ball well.”
It’s now two wins from two for Knights and coach Kumar wants his team to at least make the finals come the end of the season.
Agrawal said: “I felt I did a good job but the team did a brilliant job, batting, bowling and fielding.”
Kings coach Aneesh Chandran said: “We will come back with our full power.”
In another match, Deira Daredevils were unable to tame Prithvi Venkat, who steered Winchester Cobras to a six-wicket win.
Venkat bowled two maiden overs and also took a wicket as Deira were reduced to 53-9 from their 15 overs.
Venkat was also unbeaten with the bat as he helped guide the Cobras to victory, posting 54-4.
Last week’s man of the match for Deira, Ibrahim Riaz, took one wicket for 18 runs while Andrew Williams (2-3) narrowly missed out on a hat-trick.
Winning coach Libson Matthews said: “I’m very happy, especially with the bowlers. The spinners really did a good job.
“We lost a few early wickets so it was a little nervy in the end but this is our first game and I think we can do better.”
Man of the moment Venkat said: “I’m excited for my man of the match award but the team’s performance was very good.”
Deira coach Jay Tostevin said: “We knew it was going to be a tough game because Winchester have been going for a long time and we’re a new team.
“But I am a little disappointed. I didn’t see any positives with the batting and we need to work on that, but the bowling was good.”
