Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi is a veteran of T20 cricket across the globe and whenever he gets a chance, almost always makes a telling impact with the ball and bat.

The 34-year-old may not be as famous as compatriot Rashid Khan but there is no doubting his abilities as an impact player.

Nabi finally got an opportunity to showcase his skills in IPL 2019 against Royal Challengers Bangalore and duly came up with a match-winning effort with the ball, finishing with figures of 4-11 against a star-studded Bangalore line-up.

He clean bowled AB de Villiers and had Shimron Hetmyer stumped as Bangalore slumped to 113 all out chasing a mammoth 231 in Hyderabad.

The win extended Nabi’s unique record for Sunrisers. The Hyderabad franchise have won all six matches in which Nabi has featured.

Nabi played three games in the 2017 season, two in 2018 and one this year, tasting success in all matches.

Just for the luck factor, Sunrisers might want to keep Nabi in the team, if not for his match-winning off-spin.
