When Mumbai Indians’ team sheet for the Indian Premier League (IPL) clash with Royal Challengers Bangalore is revealed on Thursday, all eyes will scan through the list for one name.

Jasprit Bumrah has been a big concern for Mumbai ahead of this encounter after injury his left shoulder at the Wankhede Stadium during their opening match defeat against Delhi Capitals.

However, the pacer has since joined up with the squad in Chennai, albeit a day late. While he did not do any bowling on Tuesday, he participated in a 20-minute run with the rest of the team before getting involved in a catching drill.

On Wednesday though he was back in the nets, bowling to his side’s top-order batsman in preparation of the clash with RCB and suggesting that he will be part of the playing XI at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Bumrah suffered at the hands of Rishabh Pant in the first match, ending with figures of 1-40. The 25-year-old’s injury scare would’ve had the Indian team management holding their breath as well with only two months to go for the ODI World Cup in England.
