Three-time champions Mumbai Indians open their 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign with a home clash against Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede stadium.

Mumbai will be looking to make amends for their 2018 showing where they failed to qualify for the play-offs. Rohit Sharma and his men will, however, have to make do without the services of Lasith Malinga in their IPL campaign opener.

Delhi, on the other hand, come into the 2019 edition under a new name and a young squad nicely interspersed with some experienced campaigners like Shikhar Dhawan.
