IPL 2018 Fantasy: Prasidh Krishna a smart pick for Qualifier between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad

Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad will be fighting for a spot in the finals against Chennai Super Kings when they clash in the second IPL Qualifier at Eden Gardens on Friday.

While there will be plenty at stake on Friday for both teams, there are no injury troubles for either outfit as such ahead of the clash at Eden Gardens.

That means both captains are expected to go in with the same line-ups which took to the field in their sides’ last match.

When it comes to the Fantasy League, skipper Dinesh Karthik and all-rounder Andre Russell should be straightforward picks from the Kolkata camp due to the consistency they have shown over the course of the season. Karthik has scored 490 runs at an average of over 54 while Russell has excelled with both bat and ball.

On the other hand, skipper Kane Williamson and leg-spinner Rashid Khan should be great selections when it comes to the Sunrisers camp. Williamson is the leading run-getter for the side with 685 runs from 15 matches while Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid has picked up 18 wickets so far at an economy of less than seven runs an over.

Apart from the usual suspects, Knight Riders pacer Prasidh Krishna could also be an astute pick. The 22-year-old has claimed up 10 wickets in six matches and has been sensational in the death overs.

West Indies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite was included in Sunrisers’ XI for the past two games and has shown glimpses of his talent in patches. He could be due a big one on Friday and could be a smart pick for the Fantasy League.
