While Chennai Super Kings secured a five-wicket win after mastering a wonderful chase against Kings XI Punjab on Sunday, the winning runs came off none other than captain MS Dhoni‘s bat.

The win assured Dhoni’s CSK a second-place finish in the IPL Points Table and meant the end of the road for KXIP.

The 36-year-old made a couple of clever decisions during the chase – among them sending Harbhajan Singh and Deepak Chahar up the order, while demoting himself.

It wasn’t just the victory that made the day special for the Indian icon, he also had the chance of spending time with his daughter, Ziva, post-match.
