Delhi Daredevils beat the Chennai Super Kings  by 34 runs in their IPL match against at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Friday.

Delhi battled their way to 162-5 after Harshal Patel (36*) and Vijay Shankar (36*) hit four sixes off the final over bowled by Dwayne Bravo to take the team to a competitive total.

Dhoni won the toss and elected to field first. Nepal leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane kept his place in Daredevils squad after impressing on debut while Australia’s Glenn Maxwell came back into the line-up with England’s Jason Roy making way.

Leg-spinner Amit Mishra and Sandeep sealed victory as Chennai could only manage 128-6.
