Venues for IPL 2018 playoffs have been changed with the Eliminator and second Qualifier shifted from Pune to Kolkata.

“The governing council has confirmed that Kolkata will host the Eliminator and Qualifier 2 on 23 and 25 May respectively,” IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla was quoted as saying by the Press Trust of India.

Pune was earlier scheduled to host the two games. However, after the Chennai Super Kings were forced to shift their base to Pune due to security issues, the Eden Gardens in Kolkata got the opportunity to host the two playoff matches. Mumbai will host the first Qualifier on May 22 and the final on May 27.
