Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli lost his cool and got involved in a heated exchange of words with umpire Nitin Menon during the clash against Mumbai Indians on Tuesday after an out decision was overturned despite enough evidence to uphold the call.

Bangalore fast bowler Chris Woakes got all-rounder Hardik Pandya to get a faint edge behind first ball in the 19th over of the first innings. Umpire Menon gave the batsman out who immediately reviewed the decision. Third umpire KN Ananthapadmanabhan, however, decided to overturn the decision despite a clear disturbance on Snicko.

Pandya ended up scoring 17 off five balls as Mumbai reached 213 for six at the Wankhede Stadium.

Kohli was unhappy at the way the decision was overturned despite what seemed clear enough evidence. After the innings ended, Kohli was seen pointing his finger at the umpire and making his displeasure evident to the match officials and TV viewers.
