India wicketkeeper MS Dhoni’s apparel brand Seven is a merchandise partner of IPL side Chennai Super Kings and now captain Virat Kohli has hopped on the clothing bandwagon by partnering with his team Royal Challengers Bangalore as the ‘official style partner’.

Kohli’s clothing range ‘Wrogn’ was unveiled as Bangalore’s partner by the batsman himself on Twitter.

Chennai Super Kings’ kits and merchandise already sport the Seven brand prominently.

This, however, raises some uncomfortable questions as captains of IPL franchises have entered into commercial deals with their own team.

Harbhajan Singh is another prominent Indian cricketer with an apparel brand – Bhajji Sports. His supplies kits to his domestic team Punjab and also Vidarbha.
