Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and, unsurprisingly, decided to bowl first against Kings XI Punjab.

Robin Uthappa and Kuldeep Yadav return to the Kolkata playing XI, replacing Sheldon Jackson and Piyush Chawla.

On the other hand, Punjab have made as many as four changes with Manan Vohra, Rahul Tewatia, Swapnil Singh, and Matt Henry coming into the team in place of Hashim Amla [who has left for international commitments], Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Varun Aaron, and T. Natarajan.
