Fantasy IPL 2017: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kings XI Punjab – Three players you should pick in your team

Royal Challengers Bangalore [RCB] will be playing for pride as they host Kings XI Punjab [KXIP] in the Indian Premier League [IPL] on Friday.

Here, we look at three players who you should look at picking in your fantasy team for this encounter, including our pick for your Power Player.

POWER PLAYER

AB DE VILLIERS [1,100,000]

Going with AB de Villiers as the Power Player might sound like a bit of a risky move as the South Africa ODI captain hasn’t been in great form this season, but he still is a world-class batsman and that will show sooner rather than later.

He showed signs of getting back into the groove against Mumbai Indians with a 27-ball 43 and a big score might just be around the corner.

PAWAN NEGI [800,000]

While RCB have been having a terrible season, Pawan Negi has been one of the few bright sparks for the team.

The all-rounder can fetch you points with both ball and bat as he has picked up at least one wicket in each of his last six matches and has scored 30+ in two of his last three innings.

GLENN MAXWELL [1,050,000]

The Kings XI skipper has got a number of starts this season but a half-century has eluded him [although he can be excused for the first two innings as he was unbeaten while his team successfully chased down totals].

With short boundaries in Bengaluru, Maxwell might just fancy his chances here against a Royal Challengers outfit that is low on confidence. He could also get you some points with his bowling, something he has managed to do in the last two matches.
