The 2017 IPL season reaches its 40th match as Delhi Daredevils host Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The visitors have been superb in their title defence and know that victory in this match will move them into second-place at least.

As for the home side, their campaign has been woeful and the wheels have well and truly come off.

They go into this one bottom of the table and on the back of five defeats in a row.

Ahead of the match, we have the latest team news, start time and how you can follow all of the action from the UAE.

TEAM NEWS, SQUADS, PREDICTED XIs

DD SQUAD: Mohammed Shami, Karun Nair, Sam Billings, Shahbaz Nadeem, Jayant Yadav, Amit Mishra, Shreyas Iyer, Zaheer Khan, Sanju Samson, Chris Morris, Carlos Brathwaite, Rishabh Pant, CV Milind, Khaleel Ahmed, Pratyush Singh, Angelo Mathews, Corey Anderson, Kagiso Rabada, Pat Cummins, Ankit Bawne, Aditya Tare, Murugan Ashwin, Navdeep Saini, Shashank Singh, Ben Hilfenhaus, Marlon Samuels.

It’s been a horrible run of form for Delhi who, after two wins from their first three games, have now gone five matches without victory.

They sit bottom of the table and have it all to do if they are to reach the Playoffs, a highly unlikely prospect currently.

PREDICTED DD XI: Samson, Billings, Nair, Iyer, Pant (wk), Anderson, Morris, Rabada, Mishra, Shami, Nadeem

SRH SQUAD: David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Moises Henriques, Mustafizur Rahman, Naman Ojha, Deepak Hooda, Ricky Bhui, Kane Williamson, Siddarth Kaul, Bipul Sharma, Ashish Nehra, Yuvraj Singh, Ben Cutting, Barinder Sran, Abhimanyu Mithun, Vijay Shankar, Tanmay Agarwal, Mohammad Nabi, Ekalavya Dwivedi, Rashid Khan, Pravin Tambe, Chris Jordan, Ben Laughlin, Mohammed Siraj

A settled Sunrisers squad has meant their momentum from last season’s winning campaign has spilled over into their title defence.

They have stuck to the script throughout and you expect them to do the same until a top-two place is secured, although Deepak Hooda may come back in for Bipul Sharma and Ashish Nehra is an option to replace Mohammed Siraj but that’s unlikely considering the latter’s superb spell in the last match.

PREDICTED SRH XI: Warner (c), Dhawan, Williamson, Yuvraj, Henriques, Hooda, Ojha (wk), Rashid, Bhuvneshwar, Kaul, Siraj.
