Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner notched up a glorious century to lead his team to a comfortable 48-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders.
Warner scored 126 from just 59 balls in a knock that included 10 fours and eight sixes. The most incredible part was that he got to his hundred in the 11th over of Sunrisers’ innings with his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan’s score reading 20 at the time.
With this knock, Warner grabbed hold of the Orange Cap with 459 runs from nine innings this season.
The Australian cricketer was very impressive in the field as well, picking up two catches after which he was, unsurprisingly, named as the Player of the Match at the end of the game.
