It’s a battle of the heavyweights as third-placed Sunrisers Hyderabad host table-toppers Kolkata Knight Riders at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Sunday’s late fixture.

The Sunrisers got back to winning ways in their last match and will be hoping to string together a run of victories – something they have failed to do in this tournament so far.

On the other hand, the Knight Riders are playing some flawless cricket and are being led expertly by captain Gautam Gambhir, who also currently holds the Orange Cap.

Ahead of the match, we have the latest team news, start time and how you can follow all of the action from the UAE.

TEAM NEWS, SQUADS, PREDICTED XIs

SRH SQUAD: David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Moises Henriques, Mustafizur Rahman, Naman Ojha, Deepak Hooda, Ricky Bhui, Kane Williamson, Siddarth Kaul, Bipul Sharma, Ashish Nehra, Yuvraj Singh, Ben Cutting, Barinder Sran, Abhimanyu Mithun, Vijay Shankar, Tanmay Agarwal, Mohammad Nabi, Ekalavya Dwivedi, Rashid Khan, Pravin Tambe, Chris Jordan, Ben Laughlin, Mohammed Siraj

The Sunrisers have a well-settled team and unless there are fitness issues, they are unlikely to change the playing XI from their last game.

They have nearly every area covered – be it the batting or the pace bowling, and they also have one of the most exciting spinners in the world in Rashid Khan who was the man of the match against Kings XI Punjab.

PREDICTED SRH XI: Warner (c), Dhawan, Williamson, Yuvraj, Henriques, Hooda, Ojha (wk), Rashid, Bhuvneshwar, Kaul, Nehra

KKR SQUAD: Gautam Gambhir, Sunil Narine, Kuldeep Yadav, Andre Russell, Manish Pandey, Suryakumar Yadav, Piyush Chawla, Robin Uthappa, Shakib Al Hasan, Chris Lynn, Umesh Yadav, Yusuf Pathan, Sheldon Jackson, Ankit Singh Rajpoot, Trent Boult, Chris Woakes, Rishi Dhawan, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Rovman Powell, R Sanjay Yadav, Ishank Jaggi, Darren Bravo, Sayan Ghosh, Colin de Grandhomme

Just like their opponents for this encounter, Kolkata too have a team that more or less picks itself.

Sheldon Jackson has been one of the most consistent batsmen in India’s domestic circuit for years, but he played his first-ever IPL match against Delhi Daredevils and you can expect him to keep his place in the team.

PREDICTED KKR XI: Narine, Gambhir (c), Uthappa (wk), Pandey, Pathan, Jackson, de Grandhomme, Woakes, Kuldeep, Coulter-Nile, Umesh

MATCH PREDICTION

This is a tough one to predict as both teams seem to be very good on paper. Hyderabad, with the home advantage, go into the match as slight favourites.
