Gujarat Lions won the toss and put Royal Challengers Bangalore into bat at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Royal Challengers captain Virat Kohli wasn’t too disappointed by the outcome of the toss as he mentioned that he wanted to bat first anyway.

The Lions have made as many as three changes with Ishan Kishan and James Faulkner coming back into the playing XI while Ankit Soni makes his IPL debut.

On the other hand, the Royal Challengers have brought in Travis Head and Aniket Choudhary for Stuart Binny and Tymal Mills. The England pacer misses out due to a back problem.
