Gujarat Lions captain Suresh Raina put Kings XI Punjab into bat after winning the toss at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot.

The hosts have made as many as four changes to their team, with Andrew Tye, Akshdeep Nath, Shubham Agarwal, and Nathu Singh coming into the playing XI in place of James Faulkner, Ishan Kishan [who is unwell], Praveen Kumar, and Dhawal Kulkarni.

On the other hand, Manan Vohra has recovered from his illness and as expected, walks back into the Punjab line-up – replacing Gukeerat Singh Mann. KC Cariappa and T Natarajan return to the XI as well with Swapnil Singh and Ishant missing out.
