The Gujarat Lions won the toss and elected to bowl first against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot.

The Lions have made three changes with Aaron Finch, Dhawal Kulkarni and Shivil Kaushik replacing Jason Roy, Praveen Kumar and Munaf Patel.

On the other hand, the Royal Challengers have been dealt with a couple of big blows as AB de Villiers and Samuel Badree miss the match due to injuries. Chris Gayle and Travis Head come into the XI as a result.
