The tenth edition of the Indian Premier League [IPL] isn’t far away and as usual, you can expect a lot of sixes during the tournament which will be graced by some of the top cricketers in the world.
Over the years, when it comes to hitting sixes in the IPL, no one has come close to Chris Gayle who is the only batsman with over 200 maximums in the franchise-based T20 league.
In fact, Gayle with 251 sixes in the IPL, has 88 more sixes than the second batsman on this list who happens to be Rohit Sharma.
What is also interesting is that the West Indian opener has played considerable lesser matches than the other batsmen in the top five, which includes Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, and AB de Villiers.
No. | Player | Teams | Matches | Runs | Sixes |
