Mumbai Indians won their third game of the Indian Premier League after a 25-run triumph over Kings XI Punjab.

Parthiv Patel (81 off 58) and Ambati Rayudu (65 off 37) were central to Mumbai’s victory.

The defending champions are renowned for making a late charge and going all the way. Last season they lost five of their first six matches before making it to the playoffs and eventually winning the title.
