Steven Finn pressed his claims for a possible Test place as England gave opportunities to all in their second warm-up match, and then dominated with the ball against Pakistan A.

– PAKvENG: Pakistan Test series tougher than Ashes

The impressive Finn managed to find some movement on the pitch en route to a four-wicket haul as he steals the advantage against Mark Wood for the race to be England's third seamer.

Meanwhile, leg-spinner Adil Rashid, pushing for a Test debut, took 3-53.

Adnan Akmal's unbeaten 74 proved a catalyst for recovery after the hosts fell to 73 for six.

Finn claimed his first victim when Khurram Manzoor edged a good delivery behind with Ali Asad joining him back in the pavilion after a thick-edge carried through to Ian Bell at second slip.

Moeen carried on his good form with the ball when he claimed the wicket of Fawad Alam.

Iftikhar Ahmed was given a reprieve on one from Ben Stokes' bowling but he became a gimme wicket for Finn straight after lunch – lbw aiming to clip his first delivery of the session to leg.

Finn claimed his next when Usman Salahuddin departed for a duck with a low edge to third slip.

Adil Rashid took out opener Sami Aslam seven short of his 50, finding the left-hander's outside-edge to slip from round the wicket.

Number eight Akmal responded with a meticulous 79-ball 50 but met his match in Samit Patel, who had Amin edging an attempted cut behind.
