151 v India at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, October, 2004
A century on debut for the 23-year-old who shook off an lbw appeal while stuck in the 90s to register his first triple-figure score, famously replacing his helmet with the baggy green.

135* v England at WACA, December, 2006
After a poor Ashes series in 2005 the pressure was on for him to deliver. Clarke responded with back-to-back tons, including this knock in Perth which helped seal an unassailable 3-0 series lead.

329* v India at SCG, January, 2012
His highest Test score and an innings for the ages as Clarke joined a club of 24 players to have scored triple centuries. Batting for for just over 10 hours, his stylish knock contained just one six.

161* v South Africa at Newlands, March 1, 2014
As his body broke down, Clarke battled on. This ton in the first innings eventually saw Australia win the Test but after the match it emerged he had batted with a fractured shoulder.

128 v India at Adelaide, December 9, 2014
The agony and not much ectasy. When he brought up his 100, having earlier left the field as the pain of his back proved too much, Clarke could barely raise his bat in celebration.
