The pressure will be on Sri Lanka as they look to tie down a confident Pakistan line-up in the second one-day international in Pallekele.

The visitors were in brilliant form in the first ODI in Dambulla, easing past the target of 256 with nearly five overs to spare.
Sri Lankan captain Angelo Mathews feels the onus is now on the batsmen to put up a big score on the board to ensure his bowlers get a decent total to bowl at.

Seven of the top eight batsmen got starts in the first ODI as they laboured to raise 255-8 from their 50 overs. Dinesh Chandimal’s 65 and a promising cameo from debutant Milinda Siriwardana (22 off 21 balls) were the bright spots.
