Cricket icons Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne have united to organise an ambitious Legends T20 League, featuring retired players, and they held a meeting with ICC Chief Executive Dave Richardson on Wednesday in Dubai, appraising him of their plans and seeking advice on future course of action.

The competition is believed to be a series of Twenty20 games staged in different countries, including the USA. The series will feature two teams, captained by Tendulkar and Warne, of 15 retired cricketers.
Warne tweeted: “Exciting meeting today with the #ICC Game on #SachinversusWarne!!!” He then attached a picture of him and Sachin in front of The Address Dubai Marina.
According to reports, Brett Lee, Andrew Flintoff, Jacques Kallis, Adam Gilchrist, Glenn McGrath, Michael Vaughan, Sourav Ganguly, Mahela Jayawardene are among the former stars who have been approached for the proposed league.
The first series of matches is likely to be held in the US in September.
