David Warner was dismissed off a no ball for the second time this series, before going on to rub salt into Pakistan’s wounds with a record-breaking triple century on day two of the second Test at the Adelaide Oval.

Warner survived again while on 234 and went on to surpass 300 – the 13th highest Test score of all time.

Warner, currently on 330 not out, has gone past Michael Clarke’s 329 not out and only Matthew Hayden (380), Don Bradman (334) and Mark Taylor (334 not out) are ahead of him now.

It is now the highest ever Test score at the Adelaide Oval, surpassing Bradman’s 299 not out. Warner reached his huge milestone off 389 balls and his knock inlcuded 37 fours.

There was at least some joy for the visitors as Shaheen Afridi got the wicket of Steve Smith for just 35.
