The 2019 ICC World Cup warm-up clashes get underway with South Africa locking horns with Sri Lanka at Cardiff in one of the two clashes taking place on Friday.

It will be a chance for both teams to sharpen their preparations for the World Cup where all 10 sides are slated to take on each other in a round-robin format.

Newly appointed Sri Lanka skipper Dimuth Karunaratne won the toss at Cardiff and has elected to bat first in the warm-up fixture.
