Australia v India first Test Live Score: Hosts four down chasing 323 in Adelaide

Ravi Ashwin and Mohammed Shami took two wickets each as India reduced Australia to 104-4 by stumps on Day Four of of the Adelaide Test on Sunday.

Half centuries from Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara stretched India’s second innings lead in the opening Test as the visitors set a target of 323.

Resuming on their overnight score of 150-3, India were bowled out for 307 in their second innings with Australia off-spinner Nathan Lyon bagging his 13th five-wicket haul in Test day.

Pujara (71) and Rahane (70) pushed India’s cause on day four at the Adelaide Oval before both the batsmen fell to Lyon’s off-spin.
