After taking a 1-0 lead in the two-match series with a comprehensive 76-run win in the opening T20I, India aim to make it two in a row when they take on hosts Ireland in the second and final clash at Dublin on Friday.

Ireland skipper Gary Wilson won the toss and elected to bowl first. Kohli fell in the third over to Peter Chase after opening the innings with Rahul. Since then, Rahul and Suresh Raina have taken control as India gathered 101 runs at the loss of one wicket from the first 10 overs.

Rahul registered a half-century in only 28 balls with the help of a towering six off Boyd Rankin. After half-centuries from Rahul and Raina, Hardik Pandya closed the Indian innings with an explosive unbeaten cameo of 32 (9) to help the visitors post 213-4.

In reply, the hosts have got off to a horror start with Umesh Yadav removing Paul Stirling and William Porterfield inside the first three overs. Pacer Siddarth Kaul then removed James Shannon to pick up a wicket just his second over on his India debut. After losing five wickets inside seven overs, the writing was on the wall for the Irish who eventually folded for just 70 runs inside 13 overs.
